HQL oder Hibernate Query Language ist die objektorientierte Abfragesprache des Hibernate Frameworks. HQL ähnelt sehr SQL, mit dem Unterschied, dass wir Objekte anstelle von Tabellennamen verwenden, was es näher an der objektorientierten Programmierung macht.

HQL und Groß-/Kleinschreibung: HQL ist in Bezug auf die Groß- und Kleinschreibung nicht empfindlich, außer bei Java-Klassen- und Variablennamen. Daher ist
SeLeCT
dasselbe wie sELEct
und dasselbe wie SELECT
, aber com.journaldev.model.Employee
ist nicht dasselbe wie com.journaldev.model.EMPLOYEE
. Einige der häufig unterstützten Klauseln in HQL sind:
